POUSADA PALÁCIO DE ESTÓI

The Pousada uses the Palace of Estoi, originally built in the 19th century which was the ancestral home of the Viscount of Estoi. The construction of the Palace took approximately 20 years to complete. A party was held in the gardens of the Palace when it was inaugurated, on the 2nd May 1909. Facilities at the Pousada include spa, outdoor swimming pool, restaurant, bar and meeting rooms with garden view. The wonderful French-inspired gardens, decorated with many statues and trees are one of the Palace s main features. DDS 07/09
The Pousada has 63 bedrooms, all with air conditioning, cable television, internet access, minibar, hair dryer and safe. All bedrooms have balconies overlooking the garden.
Medium in size.
Part of the Palace s facade is covered with tiles with a variety of themes. In the interior, the decoration on the plaster ceilings - the finest in the Algarve -is worth mentioning, as is the furniture, the chapel, the hall, the reception and dining rooms, the two tea pavilions and the building which houses a nativity scene.
Great algarvian cuisine famed by the locally-caught fish. Excellent service.
